Performing

I have been performing on the Double Bass since I was a child and have always found particular enjoyment in performing with other musicians.

Over the years I have been fortunate to perform with a diverse mixture of ensembles including The The Hallé Orchestra, Sheffield Symphony Orchestra, RNCM Symphony Orchestra, Sheffield Philharmonic Orchestra and the Blackpool Symphony Orchestra amongst many others, in venues such as the Bridgwater Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Buxton Pavilion Gardens and Sheffield City Hall.

In addition to these I have worked with many medium sized ensembles such as; Sheffield Fellowship Orchestra, RNCM Chamber Orchestra, Cheshire Symphonia, and many Operatic and Dramatic Societies including; Dinnington Operatic, Wilsmlow Operatic, Worksop Operatic, alongside a variety of other ensembles, choirs and music societies throughout the North of England.

I have had the opportunity to work with a number of distinguished musicians and conductors including John Wilson, Douglas Bostock, John Longstaff, Clark Rundell, Mike Hall and others. I am also featured on recordings with the Sheffield Symphony Orchestra and a commercially available CD release of Alan Bush Symphonies 1 and 2.
